About the project

White Bear Montessori School (WBMS), a beloved educational institution since 1969, was ready to grow! With incredible retention rates of 88% and a consistent waitlist of 20-25 eager young learners, their community clearly valued their unique educational approach.

When WBMS broke ground on their exciting three-million-dollar expansion—adding two spacious classrooms, enhanced office space, a storm shelter, and a Home Economics kitchen—they reached out to us with a special challenge: raising $50,000 by June 2025 and $150,000 by 2027 to outfit their beautiful new spaces with essential Montessori materials.

We crafted a warm, compelling case statement that clearly communicated the rationale and urgency behind their need. This wasn’t just about purchasing furniture—it was about providing 87 additional children with the specialized tools that make Montessori education so transformative.

The funds would bring to life the authentic Montessori experience through carefully designed shelves, math manipulatives, language materials, chairs, geometry sets, and sensory tools—each item thoughtfully selected to nurture young minds in their expanded space.

By partnering with WBMS, we helped translate their practical needs into a story of possibility and growth that resonated with their supportive community.
